We drank this one with home made pizza Margerita. Good combination. Elegant nose with forest fruit and freshness. On the palate, red and black fruit, very juicy and fresh. After 15 or 20 minutes, something herbal or spicy came forward, very nice and intriguing. Very good length. This is drinking nicely now. Elegant wine.

90% with 5% each Canaiolo Nero and Merlot. Medium plus nose is tart, jammed strawberry, raspberry pith, dried vanilla, hint of clove. Palate has more structure than expected, medium plus tannins, tasty fruit on top, black cherry, dried but jammy too, finishes dry with some grip. Nice value wine.

Everybody is really excited about the 15 vintage in Tuscany. Much more powerful on the nose than the 14. Meaning towards black fruit and savory herbs. Typically 6 months in bottle and no oak. Sometimes 2 to 3 months in large oak. A touch of peanut on the nose but I think that is just young wood. A touch more Merlot in the rosso, only about 5%. And 5% Caniolo.

Lovely, fruity bouquet, searching for balance in the taste, but the wine is very young, so give it some rest.
