  • This was 2014 joven so approached with a little concern as to how it would be faring after 7 years. Closure was perfect. Colour a vibrant garnet with a narrow rim. Initial VA blew off quickly leaving a herbal and stewed dark fruit aromas. Palate somewhere between black cherry at the front and pomegranate on the way out. Tannin nice and fine - backbone still strong. Nice ripeness with good acidity - good value Ribera del Duero.

  • Vibrant nose of ripe dark fruit. Medium to full bodied, juicy and supple, delivering crunchy red and dark fruit with a nice dusty bite on the finish. A tad of oak as well. Delicious and good QPR. A solid performer every vintage.
