  hanging in there.. Got better as the evening went on. Still no rush on this one - very pleasantly surprised.

  Similar notes as the first bottle I drank - peppers, caramel, and earth on the nose, balanced tannins and acidity - but more muted than the other bottle. Maybe it's fading away.
