The Blind Drunks monthly tasting (Our house): Pale crimson color. Cherry and herb notes give way to subtle spice and red fruit. Well-balanced with cherry and spice tones. A beautiful, delicious, well-made Pinot.

Incredible garnet in color. Very rich and elegant. Delicate flavors of plum, blackberry with some hints of minerality. Although this was recommended to enjoy through 2007, this bottle was incredible. Still fresh, balanced and perfect acidity.

Blind California Pinot Noir Tasting (Gary's House in Lisle, IL): Sight: Darker purple and orange colors Smell: A big nose, very big Calfornia pinot nose. Taste: As with the nose, a big Cali pinot. Overpowering to a point. Notes: Needs to get even better with age.

Drink now or forever hold your peace. This is lovely but won't hold on much longer.
