Dark ruby color, bouquet of cherries and some spice, the wine still has lots of fruit and flavor with quite a bit of acidity. Long finish and tasty but a little dryness at the very end. Impressive after 12 years but definitely at the tail end of its best days.

Burgundy color with a bouquet and flavor of raspberries and typical Pinot Noir spice, which seems to be the special way that toasty oak joins with berry fruit toward the finish, mixed with just a hint of brown sugar (best I can do). Moderate in all its dimensions. In fact, this wine might be the compromise between the Burgundy crowd, that likes wines that have barely perceptible flavors (mistaking puniness for finesse) and the California Coast flag bearers, that go for powerful fruit bombs.

- Garnet color with medium forming legs and aromas of strawberry and rose. It's balanced and has flavours of strawberry and blackberry with a medium body. Smooth texture with a medium finish.

Still going strong. Started to turn Amberish. Subtle oak. Fruit still present. Medium finish. Yum.
