I clearly don't drink enough Italian chardonnay. At once ripe and minerally-inflected, with stone fruits (peach, apricot) and richness without heaviness. Great on its own. Even better with food. At under $20, a steal. Drinking well now. I don't think I'd let it go much longer if I had some.

Light to medium yellow colour; a slight effervescence; soft, lively, peach and citrus fruit, and tasting quite mature, perhaps even slightly oxidised. Quite enjoyable, but a little simple. May have been a substandard bottle.

Better after being open a couple of days. Ageing potential here.
