Surprised how much I liked this. Decanted about an hour, but of course had a cheat sip or two along the way. Enjoyed throughout the evening and it continued to open up. Nothing bad to say about it. Bright red berries. Nice finish. Paired better with hard cheeses vs soft/creamy. Refreshing and fun.

Some 3+ years since my first note - and the wait has been worth it. Very focussed and ripe dark berry-fruit core. Dry spice, earth, charred oak nuances and some viscosity countered by a good core acidity. ?Perhaps a bit pricy at the quality but nonetheless a noteworthy effort. I suspect should have the legs to last a decade from vintage. 90?+

Tasted blind at Bacchus. Pale ruby, lacks clarity. Warmth, pepper, spice, rad and black fruit invites you in and the palate deliver something similar with lots of ripe raspberry and blackberry fruit, spiciness plus good structure built around integrated tannins and bright acidity. Like it alot, second favourite wine on the night.

Wines of Lebanon (SF): Grenache-Mourvèdre. Medium minus ruby. Yeasty faded red strawberry jam. Sweet palate. Full bodied. Fleshy. Elevated alcohol - feels 14%. A bit confected and raisinated. Medium acid. Elevated tannins - harsh and a bit papery.
