  A pleasant and typical Riesling nose with citrus including zest, blackcurrant buds, tropical fruit including pineapple, some honey, some perfume notes, and just a tiny hint of slate and petrol notes. Off-dry, palate with grapefruit and other citrus fruit, hints of tropical fruit and of green apples, good concentration of fruit, high acidity that provides balance and freshness, and a fresh aftertaste. The fruit notes indicate a ripe style, but the palate definitely has all the Kabinett freshness it needs, 88 pts.
