For condrieu as I like it...don't let this get any older. On the nose, tangerine, honeysuckle, vanilla, almond so ripe and lovely. On the palate, good acidity, serious oak, tangerine, honeysuckle, and lemon. Good density, but vibrant and juicy on the finish.

AACollection's notes are beautiful and spot on my experience. My descriptions would almost be identical - peach, nectarine, honeysuckle - so I won't re-write that note. What strikes me is the rich depth and subtle oak balanced by the purity that Condrieu shows when its young. I've always wanted to believe you could keep Condrieu for a while but have always been disappointed. This completely changes my impression, though I shouldn't be surprised given Cuilleron's excellent vin de pays wines which punch way above their weight.

Just stunning. Day 1: The nose is to die for: honeysuckle tangerine, citrus blossom and a kiss of oak. On the palate, very good acidity, and rather unctuous. Soft finish.
Day 2: much evolved. The nose is a little less intense, showing spicy tangerine and flowers. On the palate, a touch thinner but much spicier, finishing with spicy cinnamon.

Pitch perfect for my palate, and nothing to add to my last note.
