Top Zustand. A.P.Nr.: 2 596 429 12 06.
Alkoholgehalt vermutlich 8,0 Prozent Vol..

  • Two years since my last tasting note. Still very nice, but a little bit les vibrant. The wine has gained in complexity, but lost in in-your-face fruit and vivacity. Nearing the end of its drinking window, I'd say. But very nice Indeed!

  • Superb bottle. Nice gold colour. Incredible nose, full of diverse tropical fruits (think passion fruit, papaya, pineapple) delicately interwoven by hints of petrol; very complex and very nice. Fresh attack, mouthcoating with a little sugar, not a lot of alcohol (only 8%), and refreshing acidity giving good tension. Good finish, could be longer. All in all a magnificent half-sweet Mosel riesling at 12 years of age.

  • Tasted blind. This was slightly oxidized so wasn't performing as well as it might have. Sweetness and acidity are there but it was flabby and no match for a Zilliken Rausch that was drunk next to it.

  • Very much alive nose at age 11, ananas (pineapple) and other tropical fruits and also a hint of petrol. Vibrant taste, crunchy fruit, sweet but well balanced by piercing acidity. Good long finish. A pristine bottle showing all the complexity this wine has to offer.
