  Out of half bottle. PNP. Cork broke & was saturated. High shoulder fill. Crimson with some bricking. Cinnamon, curry, vanilla, a hint of smoke, nutmeg nose. This is an elegant and still powerful wine. The fruits tend towards currants, cranberry. There is some camphor wood, pipe tobacco, some cherry cola, the follow-through of the baking spices and a hint of vanilla. This is a lovely, fully resolved and integrated wine. The detractors are the hint of tartness and the relatively short-ish finish.

  Little evidence of its age visually or on teh nose. Didn't decant and the wine was great straight away. That said, it began to fade after about an hour.

  It was from a half bottle. The nose had cedar and prunes. The palate had secondary notes and light raspberries. It had lasted for 45 mins before it died down. Clearly over the peak.

  Deep crimson, light, sweet cherry nose. A lovely surprise. Half bottle -- cork was soaked and crumbled at the base. A mellowed, soft older cab. The sharp tannins are gone and what s left is smoky, tobacco, cedar and currants. Not the longest finish. Time to finish what we have.
