I think this wine is at it's peak right now; Still has some fleshy fruit; Dark cherry, plum; pine needles, a hint of tobacco. held up well with being opened for about 2 hours and did not fade too much. I have one more bottle; Will hold for maybe 2-3 more years or so, could hold up longer, but I think it would lose much of the fruit it has at this stage, therefore why wit too long

Perfumed nose. Integrated flavors of black & red cherries, bitter chocolate, baking spices, eucalyptus, and damp earth. Nice medium+ body. Tannins mostly resolved, smooth. Drinking well. Great producer of this varietal. Can last several more years.

Similar to all of my prior tasting notes. A very good wine if you decant it for an hour and pair it with food. Lovely tension on the backend that I enjoy.

Very Good Wine, indeed! Deep Ruby. Nose is Medium+ Intensity, with nice ripe red raspberry, black plum and tell-tale green bell pepper and light cedar. Acid is Medium, with Medium+ intensity. Tannins are soft and well integrated. Full bodied with a long finish especially on the mid-pallet. Notes of savory herbs, ripe red raspberry, plum and black pepper on the finish. Overall it's a very well balanced wine with nice complexity and a solid finish. This wine could easily go another 3-5 years in your cellar if you like aged wine characteristics.
