Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 87.3 points

  • I gave this an 87 because it tastes exactly like I thought it would. Only about 7 months or so off the vine, we did not expect, or get much oak treatment. It definitely has some real Chardonnay characteristics, especially the lifted viscosity for a white wine and a lime meets guava and grapefruit flavor. For just under $10 this does have a bit of that mass produced, high yield, grocery store generic feel to it, but still civilized and drinkable. The color is very golden. The nose is pretty expressive garden aromas with orchard fruit and kitchen spice. Some Granny Smith Apple acidity. A little disappointing on the finish. Very California.
