  FLAWED - On first sniff after a good swirl I get latex and Windex (sorry calling it how I smell it) but it seems to be subsiding. After breathing, settles down into cranberry, dark cherry, and cinnamon with a lingering Windex smell. Tastes earthy, tobbacco, very hot and unpleasant. Have to think this flawed although cork and bottle didn't show any signs of abuse. We'll see if they take this one back.

  This is a nice pinot from Chile, but not up to the standard of the Amayna Pinot wich is my reference for Chilean Pinots so far. The nose shows strawberries and a lot of toasted notes from the oak, not fully incorporated. The mouth tends to the hot side, not enough fruit and acidity to counterweight the alcohol. Apart from this it is pleasant, easy to drink and has a nice finish.
