Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of hazelnut, yellow pears and toast. Flavors of lemon, tart red berries and Granny Smith apples. Medium to bright acidity, full bodied. Drink or hold.

This seems to have improved since 2020, or I was in a better mood. The juxtaposition of sweet golden fruit with a lean almost chablis-like frame is really cool. If I could find this for $28 again, I'd buy more.

Mineral nose with touch of flint. Clean scents of underripe lemon and pineapple, zesty and sophisticated. On the palate, tight but broad, with mineral inflected fruit pulled in by crisp acidity. Very French in style, and total success. Good extract, medium finish. Let's see where this ages, but a great mouthful now.

A little more golden, nose shows some development but not oxidation, almond paste, exotic, rich, well styled and substantial, hazelnut skin, lemon curd and weight with long drive of acid, pretty delicious.

Brother in Town Lot's of Wines!!!; 6/26/2021-7/4/2021: Last bottle. Spice, orange peel, shells and lemon. Cross between Chablis and California. Always enjoyed these bottles with the exception of the wax capsule.
