{screwcap, 13%} Plenty deep colour still. Beautiful blackcurrant and dark chocolate nose. Silken palate, low/medium but persistent powdery tannins. Medium acid. Mix of sweet fruit and a hint of spearmint. Medium weight, medium length finish. This is quite seductive, gentle. Medium/long finish, just missing an extra complexity somehow. May come with time. Lovely wine.

This is still young, very young. The nose has plenty of blackcurrant and mint. The palate has juicy, full bodied fruit, firm tannins and a slightly bitter aftertaste. You can tell it has potential, and it's by no means bad now, but I think I'm needs more time to let the blackcurrant recede and the lurking flavours to come forth.

TWE 2016 Expo: Pretty nose of tar, roses and blackberry, with plenty of lift. Palate is pretty open already, there is a good fruit purity and drive. Decent structure, but feels like more of a medium term wine, especially as it is showing well already.

Coonawarra Roadshow (Ivy, George Street, Sydney): Muted cedar, toast, slightly meaty with black currant fruit. In the mouth its juicy and fleshy with talc textured tannins. The fruit is savoury blackcurrant and persist long with some light earthy notes. I It's a bit different and rather interesting and nice.
