Brick red in color, this wine revealed muted aromas of raspberry, fennel and bitter cherry on the nose. The mouth feel was medium bodied with more spices and raspberry. The finish is on the shorter side with the modest acidity struggling to find balance with the fruit. 13.4% abv.
Purchased for $28US at a wine shop I had not bought from before, this bottle showed signs of heat damage. Based on the hot conditions inside the wine shop, that may well be the case.

Decent Oregon pn, 2014 is looking good for cheaper Oregon wines, medium bodied, a bit acidic but good fruit and nice bouquet, drank in restaurant for $50, i like AA wines, drank with a veal chop, might drink again but 2014 is providing lots of choices. Crowd was ok with wine.

2014 Oregon Pinot (Part 1): Bright ruby. A spicy, herbal and floral kick on the nose (like rose hips, pepper and sage) on top of tart cranberries and sour cherries. Medium-bodied, a velvety presence on the palate, although moderated by medium acid and dusty tannins. Juicy black cherries mix with cranberry sauce flavors, and I get some earth, spiced coffee, clove and cedar, which are woven together nicely. A very pretty wine. 10 months in about 11% new oak.

Good value Pinot here. Medium bodied. Dried raspberry, thimbleberry, bits of oak. Medium-high acid. Short finish.
