Quarantine; 3/12/2020-5/29/2020 (Chicago, IL): Brilliant stuff as always, even with a little more bottle age. A crystalline expression of the flavour of pear, with just the right amount of sweetness. Plenty of minerality and complexity, but all too easy to drink.

Whether this has mellowed out or my palate is just slightly tuned differently will always be up for debate, but this bottle had a little more roundness to it than I remember. It's still the same classic, crystalline essence of pear that I love. Easily one of the best drinks for the price around.

On the heels of a Sundstrom cider and so there was a bit of a recalibration. Compared to that this has much more body, is sweeter, and maybe a few more spice notes as well. It's just a deeper level of cider which can be quite nice (although I was also appreciating the light and easy and dry version sundstrom had). Very good as always though and for the other two drinking this was much preferred.

4.5% abv. Straw golden color with good persistent bubbles. Nose pure apple/pear with florals. Palate juicy apple/pear, off dry but great balance acidity, a great match with korean bbq. 92 pts

Again, consistent with my prior notes, though this bottle seemed to come across as a little sweeter than the last three. Probably more a function of me than the bottle, though.
