(From magnum). A wow wine. Noble richness from the nose through the finish. When montrachet is on, there is nothing like it. Still young with a touch of butter and oak treatment which will easily integrate in time. Plush yellow fruit-ripe pineapple and golden delicious apple which competely coats your palate. The finish is very, very long with austere, crushed stone. Amazing.

Still likely on the early side to drink. There is a weightlessness that is intriguing. Common montrachet richness is less obvious here as this style is more graceful and more similar to a Chevalier.

Stunning. The nose so rich, the finish so long with mineral notes… Montrachet royalty on full display. No premox anywhere in sight in this bottle.

This one was more rounded and rich than past bottlings and fairly prototypical Montrachet. Also slightly more evolved.
