  • Lively and interesting. Drank with first course: artichokes. Was a hit with the group. Very bright and concentrated fruit, the bulk of it as sweetness on the first wave. Then some more traditional subtle Chenin Blanc flavors follow, with a hint of butter. Wish the first fruit was not so powerful, but in terms of pairing with food, it was excellent with the metallic qualities of the artichoke. Can't compare it with many other blends of its kind, but closest to the Rulo Combine.

  • Transparent lightest of the light gold. Almost green around the edges. Smelled of lemons and some floral notes (barely) Got a bit better as it warmed up a bit. Pretty good acidity and some slight sweetness. Tasted of Lemony-melony, or melony-lemony. I can't decide which had the edge in overall flavors to me. Somewhat abrupt finish. 87 pts.
