Jólasmakk Eðalklúbbsins 2018 (Marbakkabraut 12): Meðaldökkt á litinn. Engin öldrunarmerki. Dökkur, þungur og höfugur ilmur. Rósmarín, vindlar og þang. Mjög ferskt. Flott sýra. Kirsuber. Eftir nokkra stund finnst síðan fyrir eik. Menn voru ekki á eitt sáttir með þetta vín. Mér fannst það gott frá upphafi en ekki voru allir sammála því. Við vorum náttúrlega að drekka þetta alltof ungt. Líklega ætti ekki að opna það fyrr en 2024. Við geymdum hluta af víninu í glasi og það fór batnandi allan tímann. Gef þessu 91 til 92 núna. Hugsa svo að eftir 7-8 ár gæti það endað í 94 til 95. Vín sem launar þolinmæði.

Served with bourbon brown sugar grilled pork chops, cauliflower, tomato salad.
Look: medium ruby.
Smell: fruit (blueberry), a bit earthy.
Taste: dry, moderate acid, enough guts to stand up to the pork chops.
