88-89. Opened for 30 minutes but did not decant. Decent zinfandel, but this bottle was nothing special. Plum fruit, medium depth and finish. I am starting to consistently like several of Mauritson's other single-vineyard zins better than Pritchett Peaks.

Decanted for an hour, paired with Trader Joe's tried tip. Oak was fairly prominent at first, but eased up. Mineral, spice, and dark fruit on the nose. Solid amount of acid, slim tannins. A well put together wine. Not as complex as some of the other single vineyard wines from Mauritson, but enjoyed it none the less.

The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant and raspberry. It tastes like black currant (cassis), blackberry and red currant.

Dark inky color. 100% Zin 14.5 ABV Subtle oak and dark berry nose. Slightly tannic Should age for a few years. Let it open up a bit and the flavors come through. Nice wine
