Full body, bright golden color. Intense stone fruits, flowers, oak and herbal aroma. Over ripen apples, peaches, melon, may be mango notes, long mineral and nutty finish. Rich and creamy, complex but dis-balanced, over-oaken, irritatingly oily, too heavy and alcoholic, gentle acidity. Food friendly, best match is poultry. Serve 12º - 16º. Open about half hour in advance. Drink now and next couple years.

The oak is really overpowering at this time with coffee notes blinding the fruit, but the Chardonnay from Castel always needs a few years to let the fruit reveal itself
