A little different than the last bottle. Subdued nose with significant alcohol on opening, mild tart red fruit on entry. Smooth red/black fruit. A nice mid-weight mouthfeel. The alcohol burns off within 20 min but there remains just a touch of heat in the wine throughout, even into the nice ending. This is a pleasant well made wine, it's clean and pure but not much depth or complexity.
Dark ink in the glass with a garnet edge. Spicy black fruit, cassis on the nose with a hint of sweet perfume. 42% cab, 28% syrah, 26% grenache and 4% petit verdot. Mid weight mouthfeel, powdery tannins and spicy oak a nice compliment to the fruit. This is a very nice red blend, a nice compliment to a Stouffer's meat lovers lasagna followed by some Trader Joe's dark chocolate peanut butter cups dusted with coarse ground pink Himalayan salt. This wine loves that! So did I.

Silky with some mud and earth. Lush feel with blueberry, hint of sweet flower. Muscular with fine tannin. Strong but feminine. Bright acid. An interesting wine, will enjoy watching this.
