Bavaur’s note was on point for me. Initially somewhat closed but then opened up nicely with dark fruit, black pepper, medium finish. Still has a lot of life but unclear if it improves. Tom Dehlinger deserves more credit than he gets for being an early Rhône pioneer.

Soft, barley a tannin to be found, great dark fruit and some cherry. No game, dank, or other distractions . Delicious and drinking now. Wish we had more.

Quick decant, but needed at least an hour, if not longer. Very closed, dense and austere at first. Starts opening up and initially feels very subtle French rather than exuberant RRV. Gains some lovely mixed spices on the nose and a well rounded finish with a dusty, dark chocolate streak. I think this will go on for a very long time.

No specific notes. Dinner with friends. Paired well with leg of lamb. Excellent wine.
