  We drank one of these bottles a year or so ago, but it has truly evolved and is now an absolute pleasure to drink. Probably still good, though, for another 5-7 years or more.

  This wine is opaque purple, full-bodied and opens with a burst of dark berries and a hint of licorice. It has notes of blueberry and spice, has satin-like, polished tannins and remains on your palate for a full 45 seconds on the finish. I decanted for one hour and it was very approachable. It is a brilliant effort by Steve Reynolds deserving of a very high score that should rise even higher over time. So happy this was just the first of a case...more happiness to come!
