Not sure what to think here, as this was quite muted on the nose even after drinking over two hours. The tastes evolved from rich and a little jammy to ultimately providing the tart liveliness I usually expect from a DS wine. Will hold for another year or two before opening another.

Moderate reddish purple in color. The complex nose develops slowly with black cherry, raspberry, truffles, and hints of cinnamon. Mid-weight on the palate with fruit, oak, and acid all impeccably balanced. A beautiful wine in the Burgundian style from one of Domaine Serene's high elevation vineyards.

Tasting at Domaine Serene on Solo Oregon Wine Trip. Absolutely stunning wine. Stewed tomatoes, blood orange and exotic Asian spice dominate. Very modern style indeed.

Delicious. With some age, really nice mellow PN.

Drank a 2 oz pour over 15 minutes. Full and big, firm tannins, earth, masculine, heat, young, wood, bramble. Needs time.
