Beautifully balanced. Plenty of tart cherry supported by hints of cinnamon. Elegant acid and tannin. However, QPR is not great. Will try again assuming a reasonable price.

Was sold as a "handcrafted" wine, this is just not very good. While the color is nice and dark, suggesting some good fruit presence, the wine is actually lopsided in its acidity and lack of fruit backbone. Overall, a very green taste, with notes of underbrush and faint spices. Not sure that any aging is going to help this, I think it's a matter of substandard fruit selection. Not anywhere close to the ~$30 I paid for it, better options out there. Drank over two nights, consistent notes.

New label, not really an improvement. Now amatuerish, and boring I am being told.
Half whole cluster, fermented and aged in neutral oak. Black fruit and spicy on the nose, soft fruit on the nose, tart and tangy, settling in. A little stemminess but not bad. Ugh, its $33.
