From memory. Pale 10K gray gold. As fans of German riesling, my fellow appreciators tasted similarly, totally dry while relatively mellow and cleansing rather than acidic, fresh light citrus and pommes. Excellent with roast sablefish.

Big, ripe and tropical. But still great minerality.

Ha! One of the "benefits" of a slipshod wine inventory - just found another bottle of this ;^)
A light yellow-white in the glass, with white fruits and a distinct petrol note on the nose.
Ripe white fruit spreads out on the palate, with a salty finish - gorgeous right now. Hard to imagine it getting any better than it is right now.

Lighter in color than the "normale"; focused nose, with pineapple notes.
Taut and focused on the palate - this is unfortunately my last bottle, but I could easily seeing this wine lasting for another decade.

8/24/2016 - Schwarzer Hund Likes this wine:
Floral apple/pear aromas with a bit of lemon, very smooth on the palate, plenty of apple/pear fruit with a hint of acid, long clean finish.
