  • Riesling Tasting with Friends: Nigl will never stop being one of my favorites, and this consistent with the previous. Strong acidic backbone, stone fruit, limestony/mineraly characteristics. The crowd was pleased.

  • Very pale yellow with nose of white peaches, wet river rocks, lime and lemon.

Flavors of white orchard fruits, predominantly white peach with a splash of citrus. While dry, I get a subtle sweetness, slightly oily on the plate with a lingering citrus finish.

  • Purchased off the wine list at Le Pigeon. Pale white gold. Nose of mountain air, schist, alpine flowers, faint citrus notes. Bone dry and incisive on the tongue with layers of white pear, lime, and apple core laced with resin and stone. Mineral spine and driving acidity leading to a longer finish of flinty white fruits and satisfying grip at the end. Wonderfully refreshing and a hit with the rock shrimp and pork appetizer. From a 375.
