Wow, concentration! And extraction! The darkest of the dark fruits and flowers. You could pass this off as a Petit Verdot, I'm sure. What struck me was how tannic the wine still is at ten years, and how it's also smoothed out very nicely. Silky smooth, a lovely ride on the tongue, then clamps down with tannins. Drink up!

concentrated, chocolate notes, silky and viscous... easy drinking, but no varietal character.

Truly outstanding. Rich and peppery. Decanted for 1.5 hours.

Can't tell you it was the most dynamic bottle, but can say it was really enjoyable. Well made, good structure. Solid Paso expression of a Tempranillo.
