Ripe black fruit, baking spice, rounded structurally throughout showing class. Very ethereal, but hardly elevated Burgundy. Beyond the Vosne structure, there isn't a lot there.

La Paulée de San Francisco - Grand Tasting (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Tasting, brief wine. slightly lighter styled than Burguet's Gevrey wines, red and black fruit with good savory spice. Firm finish, this will take a while to soften.

Bird's Eye View of 2011 Burgundy-The 2014 La Paulee Grand Tasting (Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco): Very different profile from the Gevrey line up. Black fruit and licorice. Elegant, very nice feel. I think this is the best wine in the line up.
