Quite enjoyed this. Citrus, lemon peel, grapefruit, tropical fruit notes with very elegant notes of cream & melted butter. Beautiful acidity and structure with rounded and mouth coating finish

The 2015 Vasse Felix Heytesbury from Margeret River was still quite reductive, punchy with an aromatic mix of citrus, cassis and oats. The quite successful mixture of reduction and wood made it difficult to classify, somewhat international, more made than terroir-driven, but that on a very good level with very nice intensity and length.

Big smoky thing that it is. Didn't realize I had pulled a 2015! Going strong right now.

Some flint-iness to the aromas, but with sizable oak component. Palate is explosive. KAPOW-styled Chardonnay.
