Rich fruit, balance and a lovely acidity makes this effort a true corwd pleaser. Nothing is over the top and all components sing a long rather harmoniously. A bit flat on the end palate, this wine is certainly a lovely expression of this varietal. To be sincere, it is also very typical for your average Californian Grenaches with the massive dark and perhaps brooding fruit. Overall impression is very positive. Well worth having a sip or two if given the chance.

Still doing well. Dark and brooding with a slightly bitter finish. I sipped it during a four hour stretch and kept coming back for another sip.

Plum and currant. Dry tanins with the right hint of sweet fruit, and bitter greens at the end. Would go well with cous cous or Brussels sprouts.
