Deep purple color with a bouquet and flavor of black fruit. Quite tannic and a bit rustic. Limited potential to improve in bottle. Drunk with picnic lunch on the grounds of the Dunham tasting room in the "Airport Section" of Walla Walla. Not the best lunch, which detracted rather than added to the wines appeal. Tasted during my family's great tour of the Washington wine region. Had a number of other Dunham wines, none of which were of the same quality as wines from other wineries visited, but my recollection is not sufficient for tasting notes.
