Light straw yellow colour. Gooseberry leaves on the nose with chalky minerals. Taste of gooseberries, blackcurrant leaves and citrus with hints of yellow fruits. Long and dry finish with minerals. A very good Sancerre that might even get better if stored for up to 10 years. Goes well with shellfish, fish or poultry with creamy sauces.

Lime and elderflower, fresh acidity, still fruity and going strong. Long finish. Suprisingly good with falafel and hummus burgers.

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #121; Sancerre, Pouilly Fumé and Menetou Salon (By WW): Rich bouquet which is not really showing itself now. On the palate a concentrated wine with green herbs, pear, gooseberry, good acidity and some pleasant sweetness. Perfectly balanced wine.

Typique de l'appellation et du cépage.
Citron confit. Belle acidité. Bonne longueur. Très bon.
