Pedroncelli describe this as one of their " Easy Drinkin' Reds". Easy Drinkin' it is , and none the worse for it! The nose shouts out Pinot Noir - cherries, raspberry jam, beetroot, herbs, floral wafts of pansies and violets, and an earthy backnote. The long and persistent legs suggest the rich mouthfeel , but the wine is in no way jammy. Acidity is medium and tannins are still present. The impressive finish is full of sweet tinned cherries and caramel. In no sense complex , this wine is a fantastic value Pinot Noir to drink in the next couple of years. Bravo Pedroncelli!
