Consistent with the last bottle, thi PnP has aged quite well. Love the textures now that the oak has finally integrated; flavors, too. Classy and crushable both. It's having its moment. Now or the next 3-4 years at a high level. highly recommended
Very nice showing. PnP. Much of the gloss this offered in its youth has integrated now. The fruits are still a mix of red/dark red, there's a line of savory/balsamic now and again, the acids and tannins are harmonious. It's been four years since the last one, and I've still got five left that I'll be sure to enjoy in the coming 3-4 years, even if it'll last longer. More understated and elegant now vs the blocky generosity of its youth. It's aged pretty well; my friends were happy with it, and that was nice.[b recommended
Riecine’s La Gioia is Sangiovese based which gives darker fruit, balsamic notes, medium acid with gripping tannins. Classy but not trashy, this wine is modern but not spoofy. Great wine to have with rich Italian food.

Tasted first at VinItaly 2017, and again today, this modern-leaning 100% Sangiovese is crushed by foot, sees time in new and 2nd passage barrique, cement, and larger French casks before release. Sure, there's a polished edge to this, but there's also a lot of freshness, and structure, too. Can be enjoyed now, or in a decade++, - either way, it benefits from 1-3 hours of air in decanter. Medium>Medium+ body, red fruited (mostly), with sweet tannins, and avg+ length; should develop more depth and breadth over the coming few years. Quite good. recommended+
