  Nose of marzipan, rose and gooseberry. Quite a bit of honey on the palate. More evolved than the Hengst I had a few weeks ago; inferior to that wine now, but probably markedly superior in its youth. Rose smell is to me very distinctive for a Gewurz. Still quite impressive. Drink up- not going to get better.

  It’s been about six years since my previous bottle and not much has changed. Still brilliant gold colour. The nose is very complex, with apricot, honey and field flowers. The palate is nicely balanced and long on the finish.

  Dense and oily texture, still quite lively acidity, luscious saltiness paired with rose boquet, marzipan, white pepper, gooseberry. Long, inviting, elegant, very well crafted.

  Anazing, complex, sweet. I'm amazed that a wine made from this grape still had some sort of acidity and that it could last this long.

  golden/orange color. Big floral peachy nose. lychee, apricot, honey, spice. Perfect acidity. A bit viscous and sweet but not close to dessert wine level. Amazing with Japanese food, would also work with a lot of desserts. Aside from the color, cant believe this is 15 years old. Best white wine I've had so far this year
