I emailed the winery about drinking windows for the 2014 Sandhi La Côte and the 2013 Sandhi Rita's Crown because I picked up a half case of both and The Wine Society were saying drink by 2023.
Here is the response regarding the 2014 pinot: "I would say they're both drinking nicely now, with perhaps the more ageable being the chardonnay. 2014 was a larger crop for us than usual (followed by a miniscule harvest in 2015) and it was the first vintage Raj asked the team to vinify with absolutely no sulfur. This resulted [in the Pinots] in lighter, crunchy, and lifted wines (thanks to some VA). I typically encourage drinking the 2014 Pinots earlier than some of our other vintages, but it doesn't mean they won't hang on longer in the cellar."
See separate comments for the 2013 Rita's Crown.

DnP: unexpected plum color (like spatburgunder), cloudy despite pour through filter; pinote faint modeling glue, medium bodied, tart cranberry, spicy finish; seems likely defective, but drinkable; Have had Sandhi and La Cote before. Will see what next bottle brings.
