Still remains my “go to” wine. If you can call a $75 bottle a “go to”. I like the full body, even in this young wine. A wonderful fruit-forward nose. A soft clean finish. I can’t wait to see how this ages, if I don’t drink it all before 2020.

Ton of blackberries upfront on the nose...small spice to it and a rockin cedar/smokey note. On the palate, surprising acidity. Not overpowering from a tannic standpoint at all, even as a '14. Vanilla, toasted oak, blackberry jam. I’m not a fan of the typical DPhinney winemaking style, but thought this was really enjoyable.

Flawed. So sad - other bottles were excellent.

Still young as it needed it open up over an hour. Nice, enjoyable wine but not terribly overly complex.
