  • RP 97 was spot on, it’s getting there.
Still not showing any signs of aging.
Agree with other posters on the flavor.
    Wow! glad I grabbed plenty.
    Sometimes bob is right. Enjoy!

  • Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim. Not showing age at all.

Fruity nose with blackberries, blueberries, black currants, cedar, vanilla, tobacco, leather, coffee, light bell pepper, chocolates, black pepper and spices.

Full bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, plums, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, earth and peppercorn.

Long spicy finish with medium plus tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley. Rich and elegant.

Showing nice complexity and a great mouthfeel.

This is a great surprise. I usually don't love the Sonoma Valley one as much as their Napa Valley version, but this is so yummy.

Drinks very nicely right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes of airtime.

Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 3 years.

Easy drinking, good by itself and good with food.

    Robert Parker 97 points.

A blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petite Sirah. Aged for 16 months in (50% new) French and American Oak barrels.

    14.9% alcohol by volume.

    92 points.

    $80.

  • Believe it. This is an incredibly well-built wine that is aging slowly and gracefully into a beautifully balanced wine that will last another 10 plus years in bottle. Nice acidity, soft balance and a wonderful mouthfeel with the pork chops, mashed potatos, and buttered-garlic green beans tonight with Katie and Tim.
