Earth tones with a slight vegetal note to it on the palette. Absent is the lushness and fruit forwardness of CA pinots. Skillfully constructed and drinking nicely at this time.

P&P via HOST aerator. Beautiful garnet color, with cherries and red roses on the nose.
Medium bodied, dry wine. The palate features lush notes of red cherries and plums, along with secondary notes of black tea, earth, spice, and light oak. Alcohol is medium plus. Tannins are medium. Paired well with baked salmon.
Very tasty stuff. Wish I had bought more. Fantastic QPR. Drink now.

Deep maroon red in color, with lively highlights. This is rather light bodied with subtle flavors all around. The nose exhibits cherries and mild mocha/caramel and some vanilla. On the tongue this is very smooth. There are notes of cherries, followed by mocha, milk chocolate and caramel. It drinks like a mild Morey Saint Denis - subtle all around an smooth throughout. Lovely, lively - biodynamic.

Young. A clean cherry fruit profile, elegant, medium weight, but several years from reaching its deliberate drinking window. Surprisingly comparable in quality to a Premier Cru. By the glass at Granada Bistro, SLO.
