My wife and I had a glass of what I think was the 2010 and really liked it. The 2011 is really closed and mostly acid and some vague spice in the background. There is no fruit that I could taste. No better on day two. Too bad this does not live to the glass we previously had.

Dark Ruby Red, purple hue Brambles, wood, black fruit, some tobacco/cedar notes, steamed prunes on the nose Bright and young, fresh fruit flavors on the palate. Not overly complex but good mouthfeel for the age. Seemed to remember the finish from another santa Ynez valley wine drank years ago, Drank this in a comparative tasting with a 2009 Simi, Alexander Valley Cab. Sauv. and the 2010 Mount Veeder Napa valley Cab. Sauv. At this point I liked the Beckmen best.
