Rich and ripe sweet huckleberry fruit, cola berry, and parsnip (yes, a sweet earthy root vegetable). Big tannins, low acid. Stops short of being obnoxious but still more a cocktail than a food wine, which surprises me coming from Beckman as I didn't think this was their style.

Almost two years after drinking bottle #2, we have drunk our last, and it has held up very well. As I surmised back before COVID hit, this has very long legs and should be very strong for at least another decade.

Really enjoyed this effort. Black cherry, vanilla and a little spice component. Not as big as a Napa cab, but I prefer the softer tannin cabs.

Splash decanted for an hour. Aromatic nose of blueberry and raspberry. On the palate, cherry, cassis and vanilla. Crowd pleasing style.

Big, but not overblown, and with surprisingly decent acidity for the ripeness and the region. It's good, and under screwcap.
