13.5% alcohol. Superb cork of reasonable length. Rich golden colour. The nose is very satisfying, mixing floral aromas with ripe yellow plum and very discreet notes of élevage; very classy. Barely half a notch behind in the mouth, with fresh apple and excellent balance including perfectly judged acidity; neither lean nor bloated. A magnificent match for live prawns (well we did not eat them alive...).

13.5% alcohol. Very good dense cork with no wine penetration. Decanted an hour ahead. Pale gold colour, very pure. The nose is vg with white and yellow flowers as well as candied lemon. The mouth is exemplary, with an intensity that comes close to saturating the palate while remaining vivacious and elegant; just the right amount of fat and some confectionery. The Côte Chalonnaise is the last remaining source of affordable Burgundy, and this is a prime example. Quite the best bottle that I ever had from this producer. No negative consequence of the warm vintage, showing the mastery of the vigneron. A repeat purchase of course.

13.5% alcohol. Good long cork with lovely vanilla aromas off it. Carafed 45 mn ahead. Bright lemony colour. The nose is rich without being heavy, and more fruity than flowery (yellow fruit including pear and plum). The fruit is equally rich, with a certain amount of fat superbly balanced by a vivacious finish. Remarkably complex for its pedigree, and several steps ahead of any of my previous encounters with this producer. I enjoyed this a lot more than the Ramonet Chassagne 2014 (a village admittedly) that I had recently. An outstanding success and a repeat purchase.

Les vins de ce domaine sont irrésistibles. Nez charmeur sur le citron confit et fleurs blanches, bouche possédant un gras qui enrobe le palais, finale pure et lumineuse. Superbe.

Good Burgundian chardonnay at a reasonable price. Citrus biscuity nose with hazelnuts and butter backed by lemon zest.
