PnP, chilled. While this wine may be positioned/marketed/thought of as a dessert wine, but that bill is best filled by the Eroica Single Berry Select and the Eroica Ice Wines. This wine is only a bit sweeter than a Spatlese, while the Eroica Riesling (not Gold) is usually the sweetness of a Kabinett - thus making these two wines solid food wines. The medium to plus palate showed some peach and orange plus touches of apricot, honey and minerality. The acidity put the wine in balance, and the fruity finish lasted quite a while -- with only a touch of petrol, and no bitterness. Overall, a very pleasing wine that would work well with spicy food. Should hold for another few years.

had only a small glass, but to me it did not stand up to the standards of good Beerenauslese, Sauternes, or Tokaji in $30 price range - but was still a pleasing sweet wine to finish the night. A bit of honey with pear and orange notes.

Concentrated and bold. Decidedly Washington Riesling. Petrol notes, wet clay, and ores. Medium plus acid, somewhat linear.
