Named in honor of Beethoven’s 23rd piano sonata. Three hour decant. Deep dark ruby magenta color. Boysenberry, blackberry, date, candy cane and milk chocolate on the bold, elegant nose. Smooth, dry palate, with nice tongue drying acidity. There was more red (e.g. maraschino cherry) than black fruit on the palate for some reason. Firm, full, medium intensity tannins on the long finish. This Coombsville Cab is well built, but the palate came across as uninspired and reduced the overall enjoyment a bit.

Cherry and boysenberry, well balanced. Very good with steak for dinner.

Dark berries, leather, forest on the nose. Black cherry and boysenberry, nicely balanced. Tasty
