  In terms of value for money, this wine is up there. Thick and fruit driven, it drinks like a $300-400 Amarone. This wine is a meal on it's own. Exceptional value.
  Would recommend opening with an Ah-So as the cork is brittle, but still in incredible shape.

  This wine is still holding up magnificently, although the cork disintegrated on extraction. The fruit is still really dominant and it is superbly smooth.

  This was part of a museum release from JB to a select few bottle shops in 2019. Wine is a lot more than current vintage release. A lot of aged notes - soy sauce being one of them. Cork was faulty but wine was great. Want to know what a $25 wine tastes like after 18 years? Get one of these.

  Monthly Tasting Group HWS #051; TOP Australia. (by EvA): Still almost black. Eucalyptus, menthol, ink, cassis, blackberries and spices in the bouquet. Same on the palate. Enormous concentration. A lot of sweetness, but also acidity and bitterness. Very ripe and soft tannin. With 15,5% high in its alcohol, but not really disturbing. Probably best now. Very good qpr.

  Gorgeous dark purple moving towards black. Decanted for 45 minutes. Huge fruit, old mulberries, and a bit of barnyard musk on the nose. Notes of red licorice,overripe blackberries, blueberries, and hints of coffee and tar. These notes ebb and flow on the 45-second finish. Solid mouth-feel and structure. This is a very tasty, bordering on delicious, wine. I was very surprised to note the high 15.5% alcohol - this doesn't drink or smell hot at all.
