Amber/tawny in color with significant clearing at the edges. Full, forward & fragrant nose of mature & stewed fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & raisins with overtones of earthy/dusty notes & spice notes, herbs, olives, tar, minerals, anise, smoky & a touch of cedar in the background. Medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, matured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries & blueberries with minerals, spices, herbs & mushrooms. Lingering dry finish. Drinks quite well with decanting & airing but at 30 years of age, it is past its prime.

Lightly stewed notes, licorice, ample dusty tannins, long tangy finish, bright, almost fresh tasting, good acidity, slightly rustic. Aging amazingly well for this level.

Blind Night - Josh's place (Josh's place): Guessed GSM. Tannins are fully integreated. Nicely balanced, straight-forward wine.
